Philter is a multidisciplinary performance that invites the audience to the basement of a French restaurant to meet a bartender with a story to tell. Complex drinks and a story about love and adventure remind us that life is magical and truth is relative.

The autofictive monologue from performer Adam Opus describes the story of his father, the pirate. The performance is highlighted by specialty cocktails designed by Adam, that he serves to the audience throughout the experience.

The creators of the piece are a Tampere-based contemporary circus and interdisciplinary performance group, Opus Company. Philter is their new experimental and intimate performance combining theatre, magic, contemporary circus and cocktail culture.

The experience is 75 minutes and the ticket price includes six drinks containing approximately three doses of alcohol in total. You can reserve an alcohol-free ticket at the same price, and those who have chosen the alcoholic option can switch to alcohol-free at any point during the performance.
