Sandman has an important task to turn off every light in the evening so that Voltti the cow and other sleepers can sleep in peace. His notebook has stories about light and lamps dating back a hundred, even a thousand years. Finally the story tells about Thomas Alva Edison's invention, light bulb, and how it was brought to the Finlayson factory in Tampere.
