Yé!

CIRCUS BAOBAB

Concept and direction by Yann Ecauvre
Artistic director Kerfalla Camara

Acrobatic instructor Damien Droin
Choreographers Nedjma Benchaïb & Mounâ Nemri

A breathtaking physical spectacle about ingenuity and new beginnings, Yé! (Water!) urges us to build a better tomorrow for nature.

The extraordinary talents of Circus Baobab take you to a place where water runs wild and the environment is perpetually at risk. It’s an electrifying realm of acrobatics, human pyramids and hip-hop, where bodies become a living shelter for the everlasting flame of life.

Circus Baobab is a Guinean performing company that blends contemporary circus with traditional African circus to create fascinating hybrids of modern entertainment and ritual dances.

Yé! is produced in collaboration with the Tampere Hall
