Courtyard is a place for neighbourliness, smoking a cigarette, refurbishing the area, having a smoke, wondering, smoking a square, coughing, taking a drag of a cigarette, avoiding neighbours, puffing at a cigarette, having encounters. And one can always revive the atmosphere by planting artificial flowers!
At the Courtyard is a grotesque clownery performance by two acting students. The performance is about a lonely courtyard, weird relationships between the neighbours and taking over them – with a clown’s logic of course.
The performance is mostly wordless and doesn’t require knowledge of any specific language. The audience can view the performance standing in the area and there are also a few seats available. The venue is not accessible due to the stairs that lead to the venue. The capacity of the venue is 40 persons.
