What kind of impression do you get of cows based on the internet? The debut of the artist aamo! invites you to chew on the subject of how the online portrayal of cows is descriptive of us and our corporeality.

medium rare is a bullheaded solo performance that roams the pastures populated by memes, ads, comments, and podcasts, fleshing out a portrait of cowness in the 2020s. It challenges the divide between the physical and digital worlds, examining the internet as a continuation of our minds and thinking.

Actor-director Asko ”aamo!” Halonen’s thesis piece for Tampere University’s Näty premiered as part of Telakka Theatre’s New Creators program, a platform for the next generation of performing artists.
