Juho Mantere is the new member of the Festival Artistic Team

A new member, theatre director Juho Mantere, has been chosen to join the Festival Artistic Team. Director Hilkka-Liisa Iivanainen concludes her time as a part of the Artistic Team with the 2026 festival. Actor-director Tanjalotta Räikkä will continue on the team. The Artistic Team is responsible for selecting the performances featured in the Festival’s Main Programme.
Juho Mantere graduated as a director from the University of the Arts Helsinki’s Theatre Academy in 2019. Since graduating, he has worked as a freelance director and playwright. Mantere’s productions have also been featured in the Main Programme of the Tampere Theatre Festival. Since 2023, Mantere has served as the artistic director of the Helsinki-based Q-teatteri.
