The festival’s Main Programme also takes you outside the theatre halls, as street performances from Finland and abroad captivate audiences outdoors. You can see the street performances in front of Culture House Laikku and in the Väinö Linna square during the week of Tampere Theatre Festival. All the Main Programme street performances are free admission, and suitable for the whole family!
SORIN SIRKUS
The young circus artists of Sorin Sirkus entertain the audience with an energetic and captivating street performance in the square in front of Culture House Laikku.
Sorin Sirkus is turning 40, and this milestone is celebrated by embracing the history, present, and future of the community in different events throughout the year. The people of Tampere know the circus for its decades of unique, high-quality performances, and their trailblazing work within the youth and social circus fields. Sorin Sirkus has offered valuable performance experience to young performers, many of whom have later become circus professionals in Finland – and beyond!

Award-winning duo Kate & Pasi create a high quality, fast-paced and humorous circus show. The duo will bring their two street circus shows to Tampere.
Rafla is a story about a small travelling restaurant. The customers have left but the owners like to spend their times doing everything else than food. These two heart-warming characters will prepare pizzas in their own way. They will surprise you with amazing acrobatics and juggling. You will laugh watching their act and you might get hungry!

Suhde is a contemporary circus act that explores the meaning of trust in relationships. The circus techniques, like partner acrobatics and juggling, help to understand how trust is built between two people, and how acting solo can affect a relationship.

BUBBLE ON CIRCUS: MAN IN BUBBLE
Man in Bubble is a unique show that combines the magic of soap bubbles with the art of the clown, creating a poetic journey that will enchant spectators of all ages. Through a series of scenes full of fantasy and humor, the audience is immersed in a world of giant bubbles, reflections and colors, where anything is possible. The constant interaction with the audience makes each show an unrepeatable experience, where children and adults are carried away by wonder and laughter. Come and discover the enchanting universe of “Man In Bubble”, where visual poetry and fun blend in perfect harmony.
The artist Mariano Guz has held two Guinness World Records since 2018.
