The story of Wivi Lönn (1872-1966), from the daughter of a brewer to the first woman to establish her own architectural office in the Nordic countries and the rise to a respected architect, is unparalleled. The tour takes you through the life story of Lönn, who was born in Tampere, and the history of the buildings she designed for Tampere. Starts from the old Economic School (Koulukatu 18), finishes at the Central Fire Station (Satakunnankatu 16).
