Tampereen Laulajat

Hämeenkatu will be filled with music as dozens of singers from Tampereen Laulajat gather under the Stockmann canopy.

In this free concert held in the bustling city center, the audience will hear both traditional and contemporary choral music, ranging from classical to pop. The choir will perform on the hour at 6 PM, 7 PM, and 8 PM. Each concert lasts approximately 15–20 minutes.

Tampereen Laulajat (formerly known as Mieskuoro Laulajat) was founded in Tampere in 1909. Today, the choir is considered one of Finland’s most respected and active male choirs, with around forty members. The choir is conducted by Paavo Hyökki.
