Traditional Nocturnal Football in Pyynikki

Tampere United will organise a Nocturnal Football tournament on the Nocturnal Happening on Thursday 8.8. at 18.00-22.15 at Pyynikki Athletics Field.

All players participating in the tournament will receive free entry tickets (worth €11,50/each) for the next home match of the Tampere United representative team at Tammela Stadium. The winning team will be rewarded with Tampere United VIP tickets that can be used for the home match of their choice (value €70/each). And of course a trophy for the winners!

TOURNAMENT SCHEDULE AND GAME FORMAT

Nocturnal Football is played by teams with a goalkeeper and 5 field players. A maximum of 4 substitutes are allowed to play in the tournament. The tournament is played in two groups of three teams. This will be followed by the semi-finals and the final. The matches will last 10 minutes and will be played on small pitches with small goals. The finals and the bronze medal match will last 15 minutes.

In the event of two or more teams finishing tied in the first group, the order of finish will be determined first by goal difference, then by goals scored and, in the event of a tie, the order of finish will be drawn.

In the event of a semi-final or final being tied after 15 minutes of play, the match will be decided by direct penalty kicks. The first team to shoot is drawn. Three draws, then sudden death.

SERVICES

A refreshment area and a barbecue area will also serve the players during the Nocturnal Football. There will be one locker room for the joint use for the teams. Equipment can also be changed at the pitch side and in the stands. The toilets are located at the city end of the grandstand building.

REGISTRATION AND ENTRY FEE

To register for night football, The entry fee for the tournament is 50€ per team at the TamU-shop. The first ten teams to sign up will be admitted.
