Ghost Quartet – a musicalsong cycle about love, death and whiskey – is written and composed by Dave Malloy and performed by the multi-talented actor-musicians of the new Näästi Teatteri in Tampere: Pia Piltz, Niina Alitalo, Jaakko Wuolijoki and Pyry Smolander shine in the unique hybrid of a gig, musical and theatre performance.
Folktales, Tales of a Thousand and One Nights and Edgar Allan Poe's stories are intertwined, and the show moves smoothly from cheerful drinking songs to thrilling ghost stories and lush murder ballads.
