Japanese tea ceremony

Chadō Urasenke Tankokai Tampere

Chadō, Japanese tea art more commonly known in the West as a Japanese tea ceremony, is a more than 500-year-old art form. At its heart is the traditional way of making a refreshing matcha tea bowl. Chadō Urasenke Tankokai Finland's Tampere study group will organize a few shows about tea making in Sorsapuisto, Sorsalampi pier between 18:00 and 19:00. The duration of one show is about 15 minutes.

It is possible to buy a cup of tea from our point of sale (cash and payments into a bank account). We are also happy to tell you more about the tea art. Due to the outdoor conditions it is not possible to perform in the event of rain or strong winds.

Check out the association's website.
