A moving tribute to the full moon. The contemporary dance piece FULL MOON EFFECT seeks the hidden power of the alter ego. A force that may reveal its existence without you even being aware of it. The discovery of this power can be either liberating or captivating.
The demo performance, created for five dancers, offers a glimpse into the movement material and theme of the contemporary dance work choreographed by Joel Alalantela. The demo also includes a taste of the costumes designed by Lauri Järvinen and the soundscape by Uni Karinko. FULL MOON EFFECT is Alalantela's debut choreography for Dance Theatre MD. The work will premiere on 18.11.2023 on the Hällä stage of Dance Theatre MD.
