Nocturnal Happening at Werstas

On the day of the Nocturnal Happening, The Finnish Labour Museum Werstas is open until 21:00. The museum has pleasant events all day and free admission for everyone!

Children's tour of the Industrial Museum 11.00
What was life like for children in a factory town in the past? The tour introduces you to the life of the industrial city with a guide and helps the adventurous Viiperi Mouse at the Industrial Museum. The tour is suitable for children over the age of 3. Duration 45 min.

Railway navvy tour at 18:00, 19:00 and 20:00
Museum director Kalle Kallio guides a special tour through the Railway Navvies exhibition. You will hear about the experiences of the navvies and the stories of the construction sites on the tour. The exhibition is based on Kallio's dissertation of the same name. Tours start from the lobby of the exhibition floor and last half an hour.

Guided tour of the Industrial Museum 15:00
A guided tour through the Industrial Museum explores the 200-year history of Tampere's industry. The Industrial Museum presents factories, people in industry, and industrial products. The exhibition is jointly created by Werstas and Vapriikki. The duration of the tour is approximately 45 minutes.

The café is open from 16:00 until 21:00
The Werstas Museum Café is open, come have a treat or buy a cup of hot beverage.

Flea market of books and stuff 18:00–21:00
The flea market features, among others, quality literature and vintage literature at low prices. Werstas' volunteers from the Museosakki group work hard behind the counter at the flea market.
