The Finnhorse

Pyynikin kesäteatteri

Suomen hevonen (orig.)

The Finnhorse (Suomen hevonen orig.) is an unbridledly funny and sharp image of the Finnish countryside. Or what's left of it.

The play takes place in the fictional village of Kimanen in 2000. The men of Kotala decide to sell the farm's last horse to a gourmet restaurant in Italy. Secretly. A truck of Finnhorses spreads in the field, creating a problem with the flesh.

The play is a co-production of Pyynikki Summer Theater, Tampereen Työväen Teatteri and Tampereen Teatteri.
