Playwriting students present their dramatizations, after which a short excerpt from each play will be read. Dramatizing a novel is the last artistic work of dramaturgy and playwriting students before their master's studies. In spring 2025, the course was led by playwright Jussi Moila. After the presentations, there will be a panel discussion on dramatizing a novel for the stage.

The focus of the discussion is on artistic questions. How does prose turn into drama? How much artistic liberties should and may be taken? What does it mean for an adaptation to be faithful to the spirit of the original work? How does writing a dramatization differ from writing an original play?

The event is open to everyone and free of charge. TTT-Klubi bar will be open throughout the event.
