Terrible cat and the rhymes of Katinperä

Tukkateatteri

Terrible cat and rhymes of Katinperä is based on Eeva-Liisa Manner’s joke poetry collection, and this poetic play is directed to “old children”, like Manner has expressed it. The stage version features 12 poems, which lead the viewer to a catlike world. The show also has a rhyming section where you hear seven short rhymes presented by Katinperä’s cat choir. The show is fun, bold, seductive, harsh and thirsty for attention thirsty – just like cats.

The performance is part of MANNERmainen2021 -project that celebrates the 100 years' anniversary from Eeva-Liisa Manner’s birthday on 5 December 2021. Tukkateatteri brings Manner’s amazing work on stage during the year in several different productions.
