From the Sydney Opera stairs to Spoon River destinies
Johanna Hannus is a livin Tampere Theatre Festival legend with more than 20 visits in the OFF Tampere programme. During the years, Hannus's self-produced performances have celebrated Finnish poetry and classical works of literature. Spoken word and poetry performances have taken her across Finland and all the way to Australia.
This year Johanna Hannus leads the audience from her memoirs in the Sydney’s Opera House stairs to the human destinies of the Edgar Lee Masters' Spoon River Anthology. Spoon River Anthology's 200 poems cover a wide range of monologues where the departed tell their past lives.
We strongly recommend wearing a face mask in all Tampere Theatre Festival's events.
