Nocturnal Happening at Amuri Museum of Historic Housing

On the day of the Nocturnal Happening, Thursday 4 August, the Amuri Museum of Historic Housing (Amurin museokortteli) will be open until 10 pm. In addition to the regular guided tours, the programme will include new special tours as well as swinging hits from various decades by the Tampere Ukulele Orchestra.

During the evening, you can get to know the life of the museum block on two new tours: Amuri kukkii (Amuri blossoms) and Verhot heiluu (The curtains sway). The Amuri kukkii tour presents the history of perennial plants and house plants. The Verhot heiluu tour talks about the colourful characters of Amuri, the number of which amounts to a small village. The Nocturnal Happening programme is included in the price of the museum ticket.

Programme:

At 14–16 Art and culture companions at the Amuri Museum of Historic Housing. Art and culture companions are at the museum to talk about the life of the paper shop and to guide you to the folding of a notebook made for glossy scrap pictures.

At 18.00 Special guided tour: Amuri kukkii

At 19.00 Introduction to the Amuri Museum of Historic Housing

At 19.30 Guided tour: Verhot heiluu

At 21.00 Tampere Ukulele Orchestra – Hits from various decades
